WCSA Member News: Becky Tucker

Becky Tucker 2010 Show -- 1 (1)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of one of our beloved chorus members, Rebecca Tucker.  She passed from this life during the afternoon hours on Thursday, May 12, 2016

Becky had been a member of the Wichita Chorus for 31 years, during which time she participated in Chorus Competitions and Annual Show events.  She was a great supporter of our group’s fundraising efforts and was often the top ad seller for our show program during her years with the chorus.

In recent years one would see Becky seated on a riser chair ready to rehearse or perform with a smile.  Becky was a member of the Lead section for most of her Sweet Adeline career, and only recently became a member of the Bass section.  No matter what difficulty or obstacle life threw her way, she maintained a positive cheery attitude, and was a joy to be around.
Her radiant countenance and gentle spirit will be sorely missed.
